For youths from three diverse communities Batticaloa (Tamils/ Catholics, Hindus and Muslims), Kalutara (Sinhalese and Tamils/ Buddhists, Christians and Muslims) and Mannar (Tamils/ Hindus, Muslims and Christians). Project interventions provided opportunities for youth to reflect on their own identities, needs and aspirations through enhancing their knowledge and skills on NVC, Pluralism, Critical Media and Information Literacy, Prevention of Violence Extremism and Conflict Transformation. An outcome of the project was to create awareness among youth through street drama and short video documentaries on negative strategies adopted by microfinance promoters, dangers of drug addiction, inter-group relationships, and dealing with gender differences.
