At the grassroots level CCT established 12 Community Conflict Mitigation Groups (in Mannar, Batticaloa and Nuwara Eliya Districts). At the mid-level (non-state actors) we formed three Civil Society Groups (CSGs) with a group of representatives of civil society groups. At the top-level (District actors) we established and provided knowledge and skills to Voices for Reconciliation Committees (DRC VfRs) to facilitate operations in the three Districts. VfRs, CSGs and CMGs groups as a network for early detection, prevention and mitigation of conflicts, and to strengthen reconciliation initiatives between different ethnic and religious and marginalized communities.
