Dr. Joe William assumed duties as Executive Director in 2012 after being associated with the organization from its inception in 2003. He is a Founder Member and Currently the Chairman of the National Peace Council of Sri Lanka (NPC). He was formerly a Senior Development Officer of the Program Support Unit (PSU) of the Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA), and the Humanitarian Advisor to Caritas Sri Lanka (SEDEC).

He has been the Course Director for Nonviolent Communication with the Open University of Sri Lanka since 2017, which is one of the Continuing Educational (CE) Courses offered by the Department of Social Studies for the programme of study leading to the Bachelor of Arts in Social Science.

He is Co-Editor of the Social Justice Journal.

Ramanusha Joined CCT in 2006 and has contributed immensely to the development of many community level NVC practitioners. She is currently serving as CCT’s Training Manager and is the Lead Trainer in NVC. She is responsible for CCT’s operations of the Regional Branch office in Hatton. She is a member of the Senior Management Team.

She has been a Visiting Academic for Nonviolent Communication with the Open University of Sri Lanka since 2017.

Ben Joined CCT in 2011 and currently holds responsibility of managing CCT’s operations in the Northern and the Eastern Regional branches. His working experience for more than 20 years in varied responsibilities among different communities and groups during the war and its aftermath helped him to develop his skills and knowledge as a trainer and facilitator in NVC, Conflict Transformation and Sha:re dialogue. He is a member of the Senior Management Team.

He has been a Visiting Academic for Nonviolent Communication with the Open University of Sri Lanka (Batticaloa Branch) since 2017.

Kamilas joined CCT in 2016 and currently manages CCT’s administrative and financial duties.

He is responsible for ensuring timely compliance of CCTs programs with Donors, the Registrar of Companies and other Government requirements, standards and policies; and timeliness in provision of resources to programs. He is a member of the Senior Management Team.

Johanna joined CCT in 2018 as a Consultant and currently shares varied responsibilities in CCT’s projects. She is experienced in Nonviolent Communication, various Conflict Transformation and Transitional Justice approaches and Monitoring & Evaluation. She is a member of the Senior Management Team.

She is also a Visiting Academic for Nonviolent Communication with the Open University of Sri Lanka.

Asanka Joined CCT in 2020 and currently holds main responsibility for timely implementation of program activities, preparation of project proposals and progress reports. Responsible for updating CCT website and Facebook pages.

He has over 10 years’ experience in social development, especially working with interreligious groups, women, migrant workers and youth.

Johnson joined CCT in 2015 and currently based in CCT’s Northern Regional branch in Mannar. He has more than 16 years’ experience in community level conflict resolution and peacebuilding in the Mannar District. He is a Justice of Peace and currently serving as the Vice Chairman of Nanattan Mediation Board.

Juditha holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Jain College affiliated to Bangalore University. She joined CCT in 2020 as the Project Coordinator for the Alliance for Justice (AfJ) Project managed by CCT. She facilitates staff meetings and records minutes, coordinates logistical arrangements for project activities and supports the Finance Officer in accounting functions for AfJ & CCT.
